So I have been retired as a Pro Dom for quite some time now.  I've even dabbled in the corporate" Vanilla" world as well.  And I must say that the skills acquired from dominating powerful fortune 500 CEO's has taught me greatly and empowered me in so many ways.  Commercial Fetish required communication skills, sales ability and self esteem.  This is such a crucial combination for any type of success. 

 

 

What does this mean to you as the reader?  I guess what Id really like to say is that my experience with BDSM in general was real, not dangerous, intellectual  and something that should and could be acceptable in the year 2011.  It is a place of freedom and choice contrary to any other misconstrued accounts.

 

There is a lot of interest, yet still a lot of hidden desires that follow along in the stigma.  First and foremost it is about time that we took BDSM above ground since so many of us practice it secretly and embraced it as a social and therapeutic activity.  As stated prior it is a choice - regardless of what role you choose.

 

Are submissive's really submissive? Well in my past decade of experience there was never a time where i just dragged a man from the streets and beat him to a pulp while he thanked me.  You see, subs walked in with a wish list of CHOSEN activities.  Its like playing a board game and choosing your character.  It was consensual contrary to bdsm stories we've heard in the press of women kidnapped in the basement of the abductors where they were beaten and starved.

 

For me , and the many fond memories I've had it was a doorway into intimacy , therapy and a common interest.  And statistically speaking it REALLY IS more common then you can even imagine.  We just don't tell our friends and co workers and perhaps even our lovers.  And that is a shame and the shame, because there is nothing to be shameful about. 

 

So in fueling the Iron Bell Academy, my own personal goal aside from the educational aspect alone is one of  acceptance! One for all and All for one!!!!!
